ガザに住むパレスチナ人ライター、エマーン・アルハーッジ・アリーさんが執筆した短編エッセイ。日本の皆さんに彼女のとても重要な作品をお届けするために、エマーンさんご自身とコンタクトを取りながら、翻訳を完成させました。イスラエルによる残忍なジェノサイド（大量虐殺）を生き抜くガザの人々の日々の苦闘について書かれた必読書です。彼女は力強く、真っ直ぐに、ジェノサイド下でガザの人々の生活がどのようなものであったか、そしてこれからどのように続いていくであろうかということを彼女の眼差しから綴っています。売上収益は全額エマーンさんとご家族を支援するために直接送金します。

We are honored to share a special bilingual Japanese-English zine of essays by Gazan writer, Eman Alhaj Ali. We worked with Eman to create this translation of her texts to bring her important writings to the Japanese audience.
Her work is essential reading about the everyday struggles of families in Gaza navigating their survival under Israel’s brutal genocide. She writes with strength, honesty, and a vision of how Gazan life was and continues to be through the genocide.

エマーン・アルハーッジ・アリー
ガザ出身のパレスチナ人ライター、翻訳家、ストーリーテラー。読書と執筆に情熱を注ぎ、『The Nation』、『Mondoweiss』、『Electronic Intifada』、『The New Arab』など、多くの国際的なニュースに寄稿している。「書くことは、自分の魂の一部を世界と分かち合う行為」と彼女は言う。『We Were Seeds』などのアンソロジーに寄稿し、パレスチナ人作家集団We Are Not Numbersのメンバーでもある。

Eman Alhaj Ali is a Palestinian writer, translator, and storyteller from Gaza. Reading and writing are her passions with her byline appearing on a number of international news outlets - The Nation, Mondoweiss, Electronic Intifada, The New Arab, and others. "Writing is the act in which I share part of my soul with the world," she says. She has contributed to anthologies such as, "We Were Seeds” and is a member of Palestinian writing collective, We Are Not Numbers, where she has published several pieces and contributed to their upcoming anthology.
