ガザ出身の英文学専攻の3年生で、作家であり芸術家。彼女は2024年10月13日にガザ市から強制退去させられ、現在も南ガザのデイル・アル＝バラフに避難している。

A T-shirt designed by Esraa Elbanna, a Gaza-based artist who created illustrations for the book “TO THE WORLD : A COMIC FROM GAZA.”

“I created this design under siege.
Every day in Gaza, the hope of staying alive fades — amid hunger, bombing, and isolation.
But I chose to live each day as if it were my last.
I stopped following the news. I picked up my pen.
I turned to art — my only escape from this harsh reality.
This T-shirt is not just a design.
It portrays the emotional whirlwind I live through every day.
It reflects my refusal to surrender to a painful reality and the oppressive methods used against us.
It is an act of resistance — a quiet scream that says, “I am still here.”

Esraa Elbanna (2003) is a third-year English literature student, writer and artist from Gaza. She was displaced from Gaza City on October 13th, 2024 and is currently still displaced in Deir Albalah in South Gaza.
